Class 6 - Mr Gunning

Welcome to Y6!

Hello from me, Mr. Gunning. I would like to take this opportunity to let you know some important information for the year ahead.

I will be the class teacher for the Year 6 pupils as they make their way through a very important year. Helping me will be Mrs Wydell and Miss Brookes.

P.E. will take place on Mondays and Fridays so could children please bring in appropriate kit on these days.

Homework will be set every Friday and is expected to be handed in by the following Thursday. Homework will mostly be based upon preparing the pupils for their end of Key Stage 2 tests which will take place in the Summer term of 2017. In order to help your child as much as possible, please could you try to read with your child at least three times a week. This would be of great benefit.

Many thanks,

Mr. Gunning
